Global search across the whole app
One search for everything in Strokes: files, text, AI chats, settings, actions and shortcuts — on ⌘P.
Hey there!
There is now one place to look for anything in Strokes. Press ⌘P, or click the search field in the title bar, and start typing.
Files, text and chats
Search finds documents by name, and it looks inside them too, so a half-remembered sentence is enough to get back to the right file. Your AI chat history is searchable as well — find the conversation where you worked something out and pick it up again.
Settings and actions too
The same field reaches the rest of the app. Type a setting’s name — dark mode, default font, format bar — and jump straight to it. Run actions without touching the mouse: enter Focus mode, show or hide the Explorer or the AI Assistant, open your AI usage. Every keyboard shortcut is listed there too, so you can look one up instead of remembering it.
Before you type, the panel shows quick actions, your recent searches and recently opened documents, so the thing you need is often one keystroke away.
More updates coming soon! Cheers, Vagan
