Focus mode for calm writing
Everything steps aside: no tabs, no panels, no bars. Just you, your text and the caret.
Hey there!
Some writing needs nothing on the screen but the words. Focus mode gives you exactly that: the editor alone, with the tabs, the toolbar and the side panels out of sight.
Press ⌘⇧F, or type Focus mode into the search, and the window clears: the tabs, the toolbar and the panels slide away, and your text settles in the middle of the screen with the caret where you left it, so you keep writing without a pause.
Still a click away
Nothing is gone, only hidden. Move the pointer to the top of the window and the title bar and toolbar slide back in. Move it to the left or right edge and the Explorer or the AI Assistant peeks out, then tucks itself away when you return to the text.
Press ⌘⇧F again when you want everything back.
